Origin House O1 Hackathon
Top 9 finisher and youngest builder on site at Origin House O1.
Top 9 · $600 cash prize · AWS podcast opportunity · youngest participant on site.
Overview
Origin House's O1 Hackathon — an invite-only in-person builder cohort. Top 9 finish, $600 cash prize, AWS podcast opportunity, and the youngest builder in the room.
The story
Most of the room was older — founders, engineers, people with full résumés. I had a backpack and a build I'd scoped that morning. The lesson was that taste and shipping speed travel further than seniority when judging happens in 90 seconds.
Who it's for
The problem
In-person hackathon against older, more experienced founders and engineers.
Approach
Built and demoed on site. Top 9 finish, $600 cash, AWS podcast opportunity. Youngest participant in the room.
What I built
- On-site build + demo (24h scope)

Highlights
- Top 9 finish

Reflections
Demos are won in the first 10 seconds of the pitch. The build matters; how you frame it matters more.
